Lafayette, CO Cannon Trail, the flagship project of Diverge Homes, announced the sales completion of all 30 paired homes in 34 months. Prices for the first phase units averaged $532,700, while the final phase averaged $655,100, a 23% increase in under three years.

“Diverge was founded to bring solace to our new owners and more energy to the broader small-town economies where we build. With Cannon Trail, we have exceeded our own expectations,” says Nick Jacobs, President and Founder of Diverge Homes.

Although home prices in the area and across the country increased during the same period, it was not at the same rate. Median home closings in and around Lafayette averaged $535,000 in May 2018 and $557,000 in March 2021*, an increase of just over 4%, showing that the Townie Homes™  that Diverge offers is what prospective buyers are looking for—smartly designed dwellings for active families within easy walking distance to downtowns or Main Streets and open space.

We are fortunate to have launched Cannon Trail in the intensely hot Colorado housing market,” Jacobs continues, “Yet we are exceptional in our ability to deliver home value increases at a pace far greater than our neighboring projects and homebuilding peers. This is solely because everyone at Diverge is accountable to the urgent work of delivering smart, stylish Townie Homes™  with beautiful design and amenities.”

With new developments announced in Erie, Golden, and Steamboat, Diverge Homes is pleased with the success of its initial offerings at Cannon Trail. The next and final phase of the Cannon Trail development are the planned construction and sale of nine single-family homes, which commenced in 2021.
