Diverge Homes embraces small-town infill for our developments as opposed to contributing to sprawl. If you’re looking for a new home in or near a small city or town, the chances are you’ve come across the term “infill” in your research. While the term, infill, is often used in the home-building industry it is not necessarily a common term for those outside of the business. Here, we get into what infill is and why we believe that it’s better for both home buyers and the communities where we build.

Cannon Trail, our development in Lafayette and our first project, has sold all 30 paired homes. We’re thrilled at what a success it’s been. In the 34 months they’ve been sold, prices have gone up 23 percent, which is incredible considering that homes in the area have had a median increase of just over 4 percent during the same time. We’re very proud of the Townie Homes we’ve built so far and are excited to see through the construction and sale of nine single-family homes, completing our Cannon Trail project.
